The installation of the R0 and R1 sections of the steel structure for the plant’s process systems and heating pipelines, as part of the EPC contract awarded to Beijing Petrochemical Co., Ltd., started on February 27th. This meets the schedule set for the installation of the steel structure, representing another significant step toward achieving the goal of starting up the boilers by September 30th. The plant’s process systems and heating external pipelines are located in both the old and new areas of Yulin Petrochemical Complex. The total length of the newly constructed pipe racks is approximately 8,800 meters, while the total length of the existing pipe racks is around 4,100 meters; the total weight of the steel structures is about 14,000 tons. The design of the steel structures for all the plant’s utility tunnels has been completed. Over 500 tons of these materials arrived before the Spring Festival, while the remaining amount has been ordered and processing in the factory has begun. To ensure the construction schedule, the project team coordinated its efforts before the Spring Festival to complete 40% of the foundation work for the pipe gallery.
