Date: February 23, 2021. Clicks: 7. Recently, Shandong Hualu Hengsheng’s 200,000-ton/year cyclohexanol project was successfully commissioned, producing qualified products. Hualu Hengsheng’s 200,000-ton/year cyclohexanol plant is a major project in Shandong Province for the transformation from old to new economic drivers. The Dezhou Project Management Department of the Shandong Branch was responsible for the installation work of the cyclohexanol main unit, 2 circulating water stations, 2*110KV distribution rooms, and the raw material tank area. Through the joint efforts of the project department and the participating units such as Installation Engineering Company No. 5, Public Works Company No. 3, Electrical and Instrumentation Engineering Company No. 1, Sanxing Testing Company, and Anti-corrosion and Energy-saving Engineering Technology Company, all the employees involved overcame various challenges including those related to the pandemic, site conditions, drawings, and materials. They worked hard to complete the project construction tasks on time, with high quality and in a safe manner. The project was originally scheduled to start in March 2020, but due to the pandemic, construction actually began in June. Faced with various challenges such as a tight schedule, heavy workload, and poor construction conditions, the project team developed targeted measures, organized tasks carefully, and planned meticulously. Lifting of large-scale equipment began in June, the installation of process pipelines started at the end of July; the construction peak was reached in September, process pressure testing commenced in November, individual equipment tests were carried out in December, a joint test run took place in January 2021, and on February 18th, feeding was successful, resulting in the production of qualified products. Over a period of more than 7 months, over 400 pieces of equipment were installed, more than 1,200 tons of steel structures were used, over 300,000 DBs of process pipelines were installed, and more than 800,000 meters of various cables were deployed.
