The meeting to initiate the preparation of the process design package for the million-ton-scale CCSI industrial demonstration facility at the Yanchang Petroleum High-Efficiency Utilization of Hydrocarbons Technology Center was held successfully. Key participants included Li Dapeng, an expert in coal chemical engineering from Yanchang Petroleum Group; Wang Mingfeng, Party secretary of the Hydrocarbons Research Center; Gao Yanan, deputy director of the same center; Wu Youbin, vice general manager of Yushen Energy Chemical Company; and Zhang Han, chairman of Shanghai Hetu Company. The meeting was chaired by Wang Ningbo, the chief engineer of the center. The meeting began with the center providing a detailed introduction to the guidelines for preparing the process package for million-ton-scale CCSI industrial demonstration facilities, as well as the design foundations, material balance, and key technical solutions. Subsequently, the three parties present held in-depth discussions and exchanges on boundary conditions, process optimization, design scope, waste discharge, schedule, organizational structure, etc. All parties agreed to work together closely and maintain frequent communication to ensure that the preparation of the process package for the million-ton-scale CCSI industrial demonstration plant is completed on schedule. The successful holding of the meeting to initiate the preparation of the process design package for the million-ton-scale CCSI industrial demonstration facility marks a significant step forward in the commercialization of CCSI technology.
