Progress has been made on the coal unloading facility for Yushen Energy Chemical’s 500,000 tons per year coal-based ethanol project operated by Yan’an Petroleum. Author/Source: Huahua Network – Coal Chemical Industry. Date: October 25, 2021. Clicks: 12. On October 20, progress was achieved regarding this facility; the longest pier, No. 9 (with a length of 210m and a width of 1m), was successfully installed, marking the entry into the final stages of installing the coal unloading infrastructure. Breakthrough progress has been made in this installation work, laying a solid foundation for the successful ignition of the boiler. On the morning of October 19th, with the accurate determination of the temperature curve and the removal of the insulation material surrounding tank T-001, the overall heat treatment of tank T-001 in the dimethyl ether tank area of the Yushen Coal-based Ethanol project was successfully completed. The dimethyl ether tank farm consists of 2 spherical tanks with a capacity of 2,000 cubic meters each, used to store qualified and unqualified dimethyl ether produced by the ethanol plant. The heat treatment of Tank T-001 has been completed, which provides a solid foundation for subsequent processes such as pressure testing, anti-corrosion treatment, installation of accessories, and piping of process lines. It also lays the groundwork for the overall handover of the tank farm by the end of the year.
