Recently, the renovation work on gasifier C at Kaiyue Coal Chemical was successfully completed; the furnace was dried out and feeding began successfully. The maintenance of Gasifier C is organized by the Materials and Equipment Department, and is carried out through the joint efforts of various workshops such as those responsible for gasification, maintenance, electrical and instrumentation tasks, labor services, furnace construction, cleaning, as well as external contractors. During the production process, the temperature of the support brick tray in the gasification furnace often rises toward the end of its operation, which affects the stable functioning of the furnace. This has become a bottleneck in the operation of the gasification furnace and a major challenge that hinders the long-term stable operation of the facility. The renovation work involves a short duration and includes tasks such as replacing the bricks in the gasifier cylinder, modifying the quenching chamber (by installing new quenching rings, rise pipes, and drop pipes), as well as performing high-pressure water cleaning on the system equipment and pipelines. To ensure that the maintenance work was completed on schedule, the Materials and Equipment Department organized everything carefully, developed a detailed maintenance plan, and arranged the tasks and timelines appropriately. By dividing the work into different stages and tasks and scheduling them at different times, it was possible to avoid simultaneous construction activities, thereby ensuring the safety of on-site work and meeting the deadline requirements. As a result, the maintenance and renovation work was completed successfully according to the plan. Through this renovation, the issue of continuously rising tray temperature in the later stages of gasifier operation will be effectively resolved, the operating time of a single system will be extended, and the long-term safe and stable operation of the facility will be ensured, thereby providing a solid foundation for the company to achieve stable and high production levels.
