The “Development of fully synthetic screw air compressor oil based on III+ base oil” project by Taihang Lubricant Company has successfully passed the acceptance review. At present, the market demand for screw air compressors is on the rise, and the consumption of air compressor oil is increasing steadily. However, most air compressor oils used in China are those originally designed for use with specific manufacturers’ equipment. On October 24, Lu’an Taihang Lubricant Company invited relevant experts and leaders from institutions such as the Lanzhou Institute of Chemical Physics of the Chinese Academy of Sciences, Lu’an Chemical Industry Company, the Management Office for the Development of the Coal Chemical Industry, and the **Coal-Based Synthetic Engineering Technology Research Center to conduct an evaluation and acceptance review of the project aimed at developing fully synthetic screw air compressor oils based on III+ base oils. “\"L-DAH (XH) 32 Fully Synthetic Screw Air Compressor Oil\" is a fully synthetic lubricant developed by this company using the III+ base oil produced internally by Lu’an. It has undergone application tests of over 4,400 hours at Lu’an Sima Coal Industry Co., Ltd.; data collection and analysis have shown that both the equipment operation and the physical and chemical properties of the oil are within normal ranges. At the meeting, the expert group listened to the summary report on the project and reviewed relevant materials such as the development and application reports. After inquiries and discussions, they unanimously agreed that the project had completed the research tasks outlined in its initial plan and met the specified technical requirements; they recommended that it be approved for acceptance and launched on the market. The successful acceptance of this project indicates that this product is now ready for market release, thereby expanding the range of Taihang’s fully synthetic industrial oils.
