The jacketed cooling-type process burner for coal slurry pressurized gasification furnaces, independently developed by Shandong Yankuang Guotuo Technology Engineering Co., Ltd. and covered by independent intellectual property rights, was successfully tested for 121 days in Furnace No. 1 of the Texaco unit at Yankuang Lunan Chemical Co., Ltd., and was taken out of service as planned on December 12, 2019. During the trial period, all parameters operated normally; the temperature difference between the inlet and outlet water was 2°C higher than that of the original coiled-tube burner, resulting in significantly better heat exchange performance compared to the original coiled-tube burner ； The installation and removal of this burner are easier than those of the original coiled-tube structure burner, and it causes almost no damage to the refractory bricks in the burner base ； After disassembly and inspection, it was found that the various combined dimensions remained essentially unchanged, and no cracks were detected during the coloring inspection of the burner end face. The jacketed cooling burner developed independently by Yankuang Guotuo Company improves the design of the end-face cooling mechanism, optimizes the gaps in various channels within the burner, increases the flow area for cooling water, and enhances heat exchange efficiency. This helps to extend the burner’s operational life. Additionally, it is easy to install and remove, and causes less damage to the refractory bricks in the burner’s mounting holes. Yankuang Guotuo Company will initiate the research, development, and manufacturing of multi-nozzle opposed-jacketed cooled burners to provide reliable support for the \"stable, efficient, continuous, and high-quality\" operation of water-coal slurry gasification units.
