From December 30 to 31, 2019, Zhu Dinghua, a member of the Party Committee and deputy general manager of Donghua Technology, along with Cui Linlin, the technical director, visited the client company, Anhui Carbonxin Technology Co., Ltd., in Huaibei, and together with them held the third coordination meeting regarding the comprehensive utilization project of coke oven gas. At the meeting, the project team for the comprehensive utilization of coke oven gas at Donghua Technology gave a summary report on the design, procurement, construction, and progress of the project since its commencement. Li Feng, the chief commander of the project preparation office of the owner, highly praised the work done by the Donghua Technology project team in 2019, and stated that in 2020 they would continue to cooperate actively and efficiently with the project team. Zhu Dinghua expressed his sincere gratitude to the leaders of the preparatory office for their strong support and assistance throughout the project implementation process. During the meeting, the two sides had in-depth discussions on various aspects of the project. It is reported that by the end of December 2019, the design team had completed the receipt and review of the gasification and low-temperature methanol washing process packages, as well as the review of 30% of the models for the main plant ； Technical evaluations for 53 procurement packages have been completed; of these, comprehensive evaluations have been finished for 35 packages, and contracts have been signed for 13 procurement packages ； The pile foundation for the on-site slag water treatment system has been completed, and 50% of the pile foundations for gasification have been finished. At the same time, the project team has made detailed plans and arrangements for all tasks related to the project ahead of the Spring Festival, ensuring that full-scale construction can commence at the site after the festival. After the meeting, Zhu Dinghua and his team went to the project construction site to inquire in detail about the progress of construction, quality, challenges on site, safety, and other related matters. They also made arrangements regarding temporary facilities at the site, drainage throughout the plant, electricity and water supply for construction, as well as the current requirements for pile foundation construction. Subsequently, at the on-site living quarters, a general mobilization meeting was held for all members of the project team ahead of the Spring Festival, covering design, procurement, and construction tasks. At the mobilization meeting, the construction manager gave a report on the work done before the New Year and the construction plans for after the New Year, while the HSE manager provided an update on safety management efforts. Through on-site inspections and briefings, Zhu Dinghua and his team expressed satisfaction with the overall progress of the project. Regarding the next steps, Zhu Dinghua placed special emphasis on the importance of project safety management, urging the project team to always keep the awareness of safety boundaries in mind.
