Date: 2020-09-04 Clicks: 1 Adhering to the development direction of high-end coal chemical industry characterized by \"three modernizations and one transformation,\" Jincheng Coal Group utilizes the \"build an island + supply gas\" model to integrate top-quality resources from the industry, providing target customers with industrial synthesis gas and fuel gas, as well as comprehensive technical support and package services, thereby pursuing a path of development that features excellent industries, high quality, good efficiency, and sustainability. On June 11, 2020, Jinmei Group and Yubei Chemical signed a framework agreement for cooperation on the Yubei Chemical Gasification Island project, officially kicking off the construction of this project. At present, the preliminary review of the project feasibility report has been completed; it is currently being revised and will be finalized in the near future for expert evaluation. This project uses lump coal from Jinmei Group as raw material; the gasification unit employs the Jinmei L furnace, and facilities for lump coal pressurized gasification, air separation, purification, and utility services are constructed. Upon completion of the project, the produced gas will be sold to manufacturers of methanol, liquid ammonia, and ammonium bicarbonate products. Meanwhile, 18,550 tons of LNG and 12,750 tons of sulfuric acid will be produced annually, allowing for the maximum utilization of raw materials and thus maximizing economic benefits. It is understood that the construction of this project will enable the gasification and purification processes in northern Henan’s chemical industry to be upgraded, thereby achieving energy savings and emission reduction. At the same time, 800,000 tons of anthracite coal from Jinmei Group can be converted each year, which effectively supports the implementation of the company’s strategy of \"selling coal and gas while carrying the relevant equipment with it\"; this helps to expand the market for the company’s anthracite coal and broaden the applications of Jinmei L furnaces.
