It is a large-scale chemical enterprise that integrates the utilization of coal, gas, and oil, established jointly by Shaanxi Yanchang Petroleum Group and China Coal Energy through capital increase and share expansion; it was officially founded on May 24, 2010. According to statistics, as of 7 a.m. on April 18, the total amount of methanol produced using this initial catalyst batch amounted to 6.0038 million tons… Once the production volume of methanol surpassed 6 million tons, the average amount of methanol produced per cubic meter of catalyst was over 28,700 tons, which is far higher than the performance levels of similar catalysts in domestic facilities; moreover, this record continues to be broken. It is understood that the cumulative operating time of the catalyst in the first methanol synthesis unit at Yulin Energy Chemical has reached nearly 45 months, exceeding its designed lifespan by almost 300 days. The extended catalyst life effectively demonstrates the superiority of the \"hydrocarbon complementarity\" technology, further highlighting the operational advantages of this system based on the comprehensive utilization of coal, oil, and gas resources. On April 17, 2018, the LLDPE unit at Yulin Energy Chemical Polyolefins Center successfully produced high-density extrusion-grade polyethylene A4009MFN1325; this was the first time that a facility of this type in China had manufactured this grade of product. It is understood that all aspects of this product’s development, from technical preparation and research on the formulation of the three components to the formulation of production transition plans, were carried out independently by Yueneng Chemical. Previously, domestic products of grade A4009MFN1325 were all produced by HDPE plants. Recently, in order to ensure material balance and maximize efficiency, Yulin Petrochemical decided to produce this grade of product using the LLDPE plant, and this approach was successful. The latest update as of April 2018 is that the foundation work for the factory area of the second phase of the China Coal project has been successfully completed; the project has now reached the zero-level mark, which signifies that it has entered the main construction phase. This ensures that the goal of completing the project by September 15, 2018, will be achieved on schedule. Since work began on November 28, 2017, the project has successively completed tasks such as site grading, foundation excavation, composite foundation construction, foundation masonry, and foundation backfilling.
