On the afternoon of March 23, Chen Fang, deputy general manager of Yangmei Chemical Industry Group, Li Guangmin, chairman of Yangmei Chemical Machinery, Ren Jinso, general manager, and 10 others visited Tianze Group to hold in-depth discussions on the construction of this modern large-scale gasification facility. This is another round of intensive discussions between the two parties, following Chairman Zhang Guorui of Tianze Group’s visit to Yangmei Chemical Machinery on March 17; it clearly demonstrates the sincerity of their cooperation as well as their urgency to contribute to Shanxi’s goal of \"four focuses, four highs, and two synchronizations.\" To ensure rapid results from the inspection and research, the personnel from both sides split up and carried out their investigations simultaneously: one group, accompanied by Chairman Zhang Guorui and other leaders of Tianze Group, went to the gasification plant to examine the production processes and the operation of the equipment there ； Along the way, they were accompanied by Vice Chairman Zhai Lie and other leaders of Tianze Group to conduct inspections and research on production and operations as well as economic conditions. Subsequently, they met in the conference room on the third floor of Tianze Group, where they had in-depth discussions on matters such as process technology and cooperation models. Zhang Guorui said that their visit to Yangmei Chemical Machinery last week left a deep impression on them; they admired the development of Yangmei Chemical Machinery, recognized its strength, and approved of the preliminary cooperation intentions established with the company. Zhang Guorui said that Tianze Group possesses advantages in terms of production capacity, management, and technical expertise in the chemical manufacturing industry. It has a long-standing foundation of friendly cooperation with Yangmei Chemical Group, and he believes that these discussions between the two sides will surely yield positive results. In the central control room of the coal gasification plant, Si Zhidong, the deputy production manager, provided Chen Fang and her team with a detailed overview of the plant’s production processes, equipment, operational procedures, as well as coal and electricity consumption. Subsequently, accompanied by the leaders of Tianze Group Company, Li Jianhui, the secretary of the plant’s Party committee, and Zhang Quanlin, the plant manager, they conducted an on-site inspection of the production units for gas generation, purification, ammonia synthesis, and urea production, as well as the areas surrounding the plant. At the symposium, Tianze Group prepared detailed \"Project Cooperation Materials\" for the leaders and experts of Yangmei Chemical Group. Chen Fang pointed out that the Jinhua furnace coal slurry gasification technology, jointly developed by Yangmei Chemical Machinery and Tsinghua University, can integrate well with Tianze’s ammonia synthesis production process. She cited many successful cooperation examples, such as Henan Jindadi and Yangmei Fengxi Quanji Energy Co., Ltd., which can provide effective experience and models for Tianze Group’s collaborations. Chen Fang emphasized that Yangmei has a very diverse range of cooperation models, and it can provide substantial support to its partners in terms of human resources, financial resources, material resources, and policies. Li Guangmin said that after meeting with Chairman Zhang Guorui in Taiyuan last week (March 17), he promptly reported to Yang Coal Chemical Group about Tianze Construction’s large-scale gasification facilities as well as the basic situation of the company. Zhai Hong, chairman of Yangmei Group, strongly supports the cooperation with Tianze Group to build large-scale gasification facilities, and has instructed the leaders of Yangmei Chemical Group to work closely with Yangmei Chemical Machinery to initiate discussions on this cooperation as soon as possible. Less than a week later, a team led personally by Chen Fang, vice president of Yangmei Chemical Group and an expert in coal chemical industry, along with leaders from various departments such as engineering and technology, sales, finance, and legal affairs, went to Jincheng to meet with Tianze and hold discussions in order to demonstrate their commitment to cooperation. Subsequently, Li Guangmin provided a detailed introduction to the signing status, market share, operational performance, and economic benefits of Jinhua furnaces ； Technical and financial staff had in-depth discussions on the relevant business details. During the discussion, Zhang Guorui pointed out that in light of the new circumstances regarding environmental protection and industrial policies, it has become imperative to upgrade and transform conventional atmospheric-pressure fixed-bed batch gasifiers into modern large-scale gasification units. As the enforcement of environmental protection policies in Jincheng’s coal chemical industry becomes more stringent and progresses faster, Tianze Group urgently needs to replace traditional fixed-bed gasification units with new types of gasification technologies in order to ensure the sustainable and stable development of the company. This is also an inevitable choice for Tianze Group’s transformation toward higher quality development. Zhang Guorui emphasized that any cooperation model that is beneficial to the development and growth of Tianze, advantageous for its employees, contributes to improving social benefits, and is in line with current policies can be discussed and negotiated. During the discussion, both sides agreed that they share a similar corporate culture, comparable development paths, analogous management mechanisms, and common goals. It is hoped that a project team will be established as soon as possible to assign dedicated personnel to handle the preliminary tasks, including defining the scope of cooperation, the cooperation model, equity ratios, land acquisition, and the preparation of feasibility study reports.
