On the evening of May 12, the silo part of the coal transfer island for Jutai New Materials’ project, which has an annual production capacity of 1 million tons of ethylene glycol and is being built by the Inner Mongolia branch of Sinochem Sixth Construction Co., Ltd., was successfully completed. Located in the industrial park of Tuoketuo County, Hohhot City, Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region, this project will generate profits and taxes amounting to 3.66 billion yuan upon operation. It will play a positive role in promoting the development of the coal chemical industry in the region, facilitating the rational utilization of coal resources, and improving economic efficiency. A total of 11,086 cubic meters of concrete was poured for the 5 silos that were completed this time. Each silo has a diameter of 8.4 meters and a total height of 36 meters; the structure below 29.93 meters is cylindrical, while the upper 6 meters consist of a frame structure. To ensure the safe and efficient completion of the construction tasks, Liuhua Construction formulated detailed preventive and control measures against epidemics, arranged for the proper deployment of construction workers, and established sound construction plans and technical procedures to provide strong organizational support. It also carried out real-time monitoring of key stages and critical areas at the site to guarantee the successful completion of the silo construction.
