From June 17 to 19, the first design meeting for the 2×30MW back-pressure steam turbine generator sets of the thermoelectric unit as part of Shaanxi Yueneng Chemical Materials Co., Ltd.’s 400,000 tons per year ethylene glycol production project was held at Shanghai Turbine Factory. The meeting was chaired by Jiang Puning, deputy general manager of the Sales Department of Shanghai Electric Power Station Group. Relevant leaders from Saiding Design Institute, Shanghai Steam Turbine Factory, and Shanghai Generator Factory, as well as company professionals in the fields of processes, equipment, and mechanical and electrical systems, attended the meeting. The meeting saw thorough discussions and in-depth exchanges regarding the preliminary design documents for the steam turbine generator sets, PID diagrams, delivery timelines for the main equipment, interface requirements, lists of documents and delivery schedules, as well as the channels for transmitting documents and information; ultimately, actionable consensus was reached. The successful holding of this meeting marks a substantial progress in tasks such as the process system design for the steam turbine generators in the ethylene glycol project, as well as the production and supply of related equipment.
