On May 14, the kick-off meeting for Inner Mongolia Huaheng Energy Technology Co., Ltd.’s integrated project for PTMEG and PBAT new material production chains was held at the headquarters of China Chengda Engineering Co., Ltd. The holding of this meeting marks the entry of the cooperation between Chengda Company and Inner Mongolia Huaheng Energy Technology in the field of new materials into a substantive phase. At the kick-off meeting, Gan Kejian, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee and General Manager of Chengda Company, delivered a welcome speech. He extended a warm welcome to Cai Huajun and his team from Inner Mongolia Huaheng Energy Technology, expressed gratitude for their trust in Chengda Company, and stated that Chengda Company would go all out to assign skilled personnel to provide strong technical support and high-quality engineering services for Inner Mongolia Huaheng’s integration project. In his speech, Liu Yiheng, Secretary of the Party Committee and Chairman of Chengda Company, pointed out that Chengda Company’s engineering and technical advantages in related industrial chains such as BDO, PTMEG, and PBAT align closely with the industrial layout of Inner Mongolia Huaheng Energy Technology, thus offering vast prospects for cooperation. Chengda Company is committed to providing multi-level, comprehensive engineering technology services to Inner Mongolia Huaheng Energy Technology, and looks forward to even deeper cooperation in the future. The Inner Mongolia Huaheng integrated project is currently the largest of its kind under construction in China. This project improves the industrial chain structure of Inner Mongolia Huaheng Energy Technology, and at the same time responds to the call for the vigorous development of biodegradable plastics; it holds great significance for environmental protection in our country. Construction scale and contents: The main facilities to be built include an 800,000 tons/year acetylene feedstock plant, an acetylene plant with a capacity of 240,000 tons/year, a natural gas-to-hydrogen plant with a production capacity of 69,000 standard cubic meters per hour, a formaldehyde plant with a capacity of 140,000 tons/year, a BDO plant with a capacity of 720,000 tons/year, a PTMEG plant with a capacity of 180,000 tons/year, a PBAT plant with a capacity of 60,000 tons/year, a power plant (comprising 4×320t/h coal-fired boilers, 2×30MW back-pressure steam turbine generators, 1×40MW back-pressure steam turbine generator, and 1×20MW air separation and air compressor turbines), along with supporting auxiliary facilities and environmental protection systems.
