On July 13, a coordination meeting regarding the customs clearance of the imported goods for the air separation unit of Yueneng Chemical Materials Co., Ltd.’s first-phase project, which has an annual production capacity of 400,000 tons of ethylene glycol, was held in Hangzhou. Li Peng, the person in charge of the ethylene glycol project at Air Liquide (Hangzhou) Co., Ltd., Gao Zhan, the deputy general manager of the International Trade Department at the Coal Import and Export Co., Ltd., Jing Hao, the deputy head of the company’s Materials Management Department, along with relevant staff from all three parties, attended the meeting. At the meeting, Li Peng provided a detailed overview of the current progress of the tasks related to the air separation unit in the ethylene glycol project, as well as the progress on the key milestones. The participants discussed the subsequent delivery process and payment milestones for the air separation unit, paid close attention to the procurement of imported valves, and updated the list of imported equipment. At the same time, the three parties had in-depth discussions on the issues related to the domestic delivery of air separation unit equipment and the customs clearance of imported goods, and reached a consensus. The holding of this coordination meeting marks the entry of the air separation unit into the full manufacturing phase, which is of great significance for the smooth delivery of the unit. Project investment: 5.98 billion yuan, with 532.6274 million yuan allocated to environmental protection measures. Land area: Total land area is 1,711.05 mu, and the net land area is 1,486.50 mu. Construction contents include gasification units, purification units, H2/CO separation units, ethylene glycol production units, etc. The utility systems and supporting auxiliary facilities include: 3×350t/h high-temperature and high-pressure circulating fluidized bed boilers + 2×30MW back-pressure steam turbine generator sets, air separation units, circulating water stations, desalination stations, storage and transportation facilities, sewage treatment plants, etc.
