On May 10, the 471 biochemical tank and the 469 hydrolysis-acidification tank as part of the EPCO project for the wastewater treatment plant and related pipelines in the salt chemical industrial park in Dingyuan, Chuzhou, Anhui, which was overseen by Donghua Technology, were completed 16 days earlier than planned, laying a solid foundation for subsequent testing and installation work on these tanks. The two structures that have reached their final stage of construction are the largest, most challenging to build, and technically most complex structures in this project. To create a model project for environmental protection, the company, after conducting thorough discussions and evaluations with experts in the preliminary stage, replaced the traditional post-cast joints with continuous expansion reinforcement strips. The pool walls were constructed in two layers and multiple sections, which reduced the complexity of construction and shortened the project timeline. The early completion of the roofing work on these two structures demonstrates the high level of attention and emphasis placed on this project by the local authorities and the project owner. It reflects the sense of responsibility and hardworking spirit of the people at Donghua, and it greatly boosts the confidence and morale of all parties involved in the project to ensure its completion and operation on schedule. This represents a solid step forward in striving to create a benchmark project for wastewater treatment for the company. Staff from Donghua Technology’s Infrastructure Department, Corporate Management Department, and China Chemical Environmental Protection Research Institute attended the topping-out ceremony.
The traditional post-cast strip was replaced with a continuous expansion reinforcement strip, and the pool wall was constructed in two layers and multiple sections, which reduced the construction difficulty and shortened the project duration.
