Since July 3, Boiler No. 1 of the company’s 600,000-ton ethylene glycol production facility has been operating normally for 216 hours now, and the 2.5 MPa steam generated by it is being supplied to external systems for use. To date, the bed temperature of Boiler No. 1 has reached 900°C, and the main steam pressure has reached 5.5 MPa. Since July 7, the steam generated by this boiler has been used to purge the main steam pipes, and the purification process was successful ； The steam pipelines in the air separation area have been purged since 1:30 a.m. on the 9th, and so far 17 purging operations have been carried out ； All safety valves in the boiler system have been calibrated and tested successfully, and are now in normal use. During the operation of the boiler, by strictly adhering to the operating regulations, the manway bolts of the steam drum and the valve packing bolts were tightened thermally on a regular basis. The boiler’s expansion was monitored to guide the process of increasing its load. Inspections were also carried out on the coal drop pipes of the various feeders as well as the slag discharge pipes of the slag cooler; no blockages were found, ensuring the stable operation of all equipment.
