Yulin Energy Chemical: World’s first multi-nozzle opposed semi-waste-boiler gasifier successfully lifted Author/Source: Yankuang Group Date: 2020-07-09 Clicks: 159 At 8:18 on May 31, the world’s first multi-nozzle opposed semi-waste-boiler gasifier developed by Yankuang Group was officially lifted at Yulin Energy Chemical Company, and the lifting was completed successfully in one go. The multi-nozzle opposed semi-waste-boiler gasification furnace technology was jointly developed by the group company and East China University of Science and Technology. The multi-nozzle opposed semi-waste-boiler gasifier lifted this time was manufactured by Dongfang Boiler Co., Ltd. of Dongfang Electric Corporation and Xi’an Nuclear Equipment Co., Ltd. It is 45.75 meters long, has an inner diameter of 4.2 meters, and weighs 737 tons; it can process 2,000 tons of coal per day. Being the first of its kind in the world, it boasts a higher energy efficiency than traditional quenching-type gasifiers, aligns with policies aimed at energy conservation and emission reduction, and represents the future direction of coal gasification technology. The installation and construction of this furnace were carried out under the general contract of China Tianchen Engineering Co., Ltd., while the lifting work was handled by Shaanxi Huajian Engineering Co., Ltd. The lifting height this time is 110 meters, and the lifting equipment used is a 3,200-ton crawler crane. High precision is required for the lifting process, making it the most challenging lifting operation in the second phase of the Yulin Energy Chemicals project. The full-scale application of the multi-nozzle opposed semi-waste-boiler gasification furnace represents a significant milestone in the development of the group company’s core gasification technologies. It will play a vital role in advancing the development of such core technologies both within the group company and in China, offering broad market prospects.
