This project is part of Tianjin Bohua’s effort to relocate its facilities in line with industrial development strategies, and it is being carried out by Sinopec Fourth Construction Company. At the construction site, upon the command to \"lift\", the first section of the reactor, weighing 116 tons, slowly rose off the ground. After being lifted, rotated, and lowered, it was successfully installed on a 21-meter-high frame foundation in 58 minutes. It is reported that the \"two units\" (reactor and regenerator) of Tianjin Bohua’s DMTO project are the core equipment of the 1.8 million tons per year methanol-to-olefins plant. The reactor weighs 1,254 tons, is 42 meters high, and has a maximum diameter of 15.6 meters; after installation its total height will be 63 meters. It was delivered in sections and assembled and welded on-site, with modular installation carried out in 4 stages in accordance with the construction plan. The wall thickness of the reactor cylinder is 36 mm, with a maximum thickness of 42 mm; the length of weld seams per meter is 1400 meters.
