On January 7, 2025, a meeting was held to review the overall design for the relocation, upgrading, and renovation project of Shaanxi Xinghua Group Co., Ltd. At the review meeting, Hualu Engineering Technology Co., Ltd. provided a detailed presentation on the overall design of the project. After research and discussion, the experts present agreed that the overall design of the project meets the requirements of relevant specifications in terms of content and depth; the selected process technologies are mature, advanced, and reliable, and comply with relevant policies and regulations. They therefore approved the project for approval. On December 14, 2024, an internal review meeting was held for the overall design of the relocation, upgrading, and renovation project of Shaanxi Xinghua Group Co., Ltd.; construction is scheduled to begin officially in March 2025. On September 17, 2025, the groundbreaking ceremony was held for the pile foundation works of the gasification unit and coal storage and transportation unit in the relocation, upgrading, and renovation project of Shaanxi Yanchang Petroleum Xinghua Yushen Chemical Co., Ltd., a project undertaken by Shaanxi Huajian. Shaanxi Xinghua Group has relocated to the Qingshui Industrial Park in Yushen Industrial Zone, Yulin City, as part of its upgrade and transformation process. The relocation, upgrading, and transformation of Shaanxi Xinghua Group will involve the construction of facilities for producing 500,000 tons per year of synthetic ammonia, 2×360,000 tons per year of dilute nitric acid, 860,000 tons per year of ammonium nitrate, 2×250,000 tons per year of nitro compound fertilizers, 20,000 tons per year of electronic-grade nitric acid, 5,000 tons per year of electronic-grade ammonia water, 5,000 tons per year of electronic-grade ultra-pure ammonia, 150,000 tons per year of industrial-grade and 50,000 tons per year of food-grade liquid carbon dioxide. Additionally, necessary supporting facilities such as an air separation unit with a capacity of 60,000 m3/h will be installed.
