Safety comes first; environmental protection is of utmost importance. The proper operation of environmental protection facilities is directly related to whether a company can operate stably over the long term. As of February 20, the flue gas desulfurization system for the 220T boiler at the Linyi branch has been in operation continuously since its commissioning following a major repair on April 17, 2021, and has now operated stably for 310 days. At present, the workshop conducts daily comparisons of key process indicators, enhances the sense of responsibility among managers and employees regarding inspections, ensures the stable operation of the desulfurization system, and strives for continuous successful operations. During the major maintenance in April last year, the workshop took the opportunity to add supports to the liquid drop pipes in the concentration section of the desulfurization tower, thereby enhancing their stability; it also carried out anti-corrosion treatments on the inclined plates. This ensured that no more cross-feeding of liquids occurred in the concentration and absorption sections of the desulfurization system, resolving a major issue that affected its normal operation. During normal operation, this workshop strictly controls the process parameters, takes samples for analysis on schedule, and produces ammonium sulfate in a timely manner to ensure that the desulfurization system remains in optimal condition at all times. There are many pumps and machinery at desulfurization sites, so it is particularly important to strengthen the regular maintenance of these operating equipment. Regularly switching to backup pumps and machines, as well as topping up oil and removing scale, has become a standard practice.
