The synthesis tower for the Phase III project in Ningxia Baofeng was lifted into place. According to information from 11th Chemical Construction Company, on the afternoon of November 17, 2021, after two hours of effort, the last piece of equipment in the synthesis unit – the synthesis tower – was successfully lifted into place. The device is 15 meters tall, weighs 320 tons, and has an installation height of 9 meters. The installation of this equipment by lifting it into place marks the completion of all tasks related to the lifting of equipment for the synthesis unit, thereby creating the conditions necessary for the subsequent installation of pipelines in the unit area and the complete hardening of the ground surface. ? Ningxia Baofeng Phase III is a 500,000 tons per year coal-to-olefins project. Using a space furnace for gasification, isothermal shift, Linde low-temperature methanol washing, Davy methanol synthesis process, and DMTO technology, an annual production capacity of 500,000 tons of olefins is achieved.
