The main structure of the gasification framework for the Chongqing Xiangyu Salt Chemicals Gasification Energy-Saving Technology Upgrade Project was successfully completed on January 17. With the pouring of the final batch of concrete, the main structure of the gasification framework for this project was completed, marking the successful achievement of a key milestone set before the Spring Festival in 2022. The total height of the gasification framework for this project is 65 meters, of which the height of the concrete structure layer is 53.7 meters. The building area is 10,600 square meters. The framework features numerous embedded components and pre-drilled holes, large span between floors, and complex local variations in floor levels. From the completion of the construction of the underground foundation on October 18, 2021, to the finishing of the concrete pouring for the first floor on October 27, and then to the completion of the 53.7m high concrete structure on January 17, 2022, it took only 3 months to complete the construction of the 9-story concrete framework of this project – a time frame that represents the fastest record in the industry. To date, in addition to the completion of the framing for gasification, 12 individual construction units including the air separation compression plant, the central laboratory, and the comprehensive maintenance facility have all seen their structural framing completed. The first large-scale piece of equipment, namely the air separation compressor, has been successfully installed. The main structural framework of the project will be completed by the Lunar New Year, and the installation work is also in full swing. The general contracting project for the energy-saving technology upgrade of Chongqing Xiangyu Salt Chemical Gasification is located in Jiulongyuan, Wanzhou Economic Development Zone, Chongqing. The scale of the construction includes a 300,000 tons per year ammonia synthesis plant, an air separation unit, a gasification unit, a purification unit, as well as the associated utility systems (excluding boilers) and auxiliary facilities. Wuhuan Project took on the general contracting of the Chongqing Xiangyu Salt Chemical Gasification Energy-Saving Technology Upgrade Project under the EPCC model. On March 1, 2021, the project’s signing ceremony and kick-off meeting were held at Wuhuan Project. The contract value awarded is approximately 1.056 billion yuan. Shiliu Hua Jian won the contract for the construction of this project, with a contract value of around 150 million and a construction period of 16 months. The construction scope includes the building works and installation works for supporting facilities such as gasification units, shift conversion units, air separation units, purification units, ammonia synthesis units, circulating water stations, power distribution rooms, pressure pump rooms, and pipe galleries.
