On April 2, the demolition work of the original coal transfer trestle was completed successfully at the site of the gasification workshop in System 2 through lifting operations. Since the demolition work began, the company has strengthened coordination among its staff and worked together with the contractors to advance the process. Key personnel were dispatched to the site immediately to assist with the demolition, and at the same time, the overall lifting route was carefully reviewed to speed up the implementation of the work ; To ensure the construction progress of the comprehensive environmental protection renovation project for System 2’s gasification process, the demolition of the existing coal transfer trestles was carried out simultaneously with the project construction. Strict supervision, control, and monitoring systems were implemented, and any issues identified were promptly addressed and corrected ; Given the high risks and difficulties associated with the demolition of the coal transfer trestle, a dedicated supervisor is stationed on site throughout the process to ensure strict control over safety and quality, thereby guaranteeing the smooth progress of the demolition work. It is reported that the original coal transfer trestle in the gasification workshop of System No. 2 was approximately 79 meters long and weighed over 100 tons. For this lifting operation, workers used two 200-ton cranes to lift it; after 8 hours of hard work, it was finally lowered to the ground safely and successfully. It is reported that the environmental protection comprehensive improvement project for Xi Fengtai Company’s No. 2 gasification system was carried out as an upgrade in response to the \"2019 Action Plan for Winning the Battle to Protect the Blue Skies in Shanxi Province\" and other relevant local regulations. It upgrades the gasification process while maintaining the original scale and production capacity; the existing 10 φ2650 intermittent gas generation furnaces are replaced with 5 φ3600 pure-oxygen continuous gasification furnaces, along with a 16,000 Nm3/h cryogenic air separation unit. The subsequent purification, compression, synthesis units, auxiliary production facilities, and utility systems are adapted using the existing infrastructure. The production capacity remains unchanged after the upgrade, offering the company effective ways to reduce production costs, improve environmental management, and optimize its industrial structure.
