Recently, the turbine in the compression building of the Yixing Linggu air separation unit, which was under construction by Company 9 of the installation engineering department, was successfully hoisted into place. Before the lifting, the Yixing project team of Installation Engineering Company 9 made thorough preparations. Such as transporting the equipment to the second floor, treating the rough surface of the equipment’s base layer, and installing temporary shims. The successful installation of the steam turbine marks the official start of the installation of large-scale equipment for this project. The installation of the compression units in the compression building of the Yixing Linggu air separation plant is of paramount importance in the construction of this project. Among them, the turbine has a net weight of 95 tons and dimensions of 6029mm*5314mm*3860mm; it is the heaviest and largest equipment in the compressor unit. The Yixing project team of Installation Engineering Company No. 9 formulated a comprehensive lifting plan based on the actual conditions on site and the construction plan, thereby successfully completing the lifting of the turbine.
