Recently, the kick-off meeting for the preliminary design and construction drawings of the Coal-Based New Materials Circular Industrial Park project, which is part of the comprehensive infrastructure improvement initiative in the industrial park of Turpan Economic Development Zone in Xinjiang Autonomous Region, was successfully held at China Chemical Siding’s Xinjiang branch. On April 11, 2025, the government of the Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region approved the expansion of the Turpan Economic Development Zone, adopting a \"one park and five zones\" layout with a total area of 22.85 square kilometers, of which the Coal-Based New Materials Circular Industry Park covers 4 square kilometers. On June 20, the Autonomous Region’s Department of Industry and Information Technology approved the establishment of a new chemical industry cluster, providing policy support for the development of this project; Sai Ding Company is responsible for designing 13 individual infrastructure components as part of this project. During the meeting, the project design manager provided a detailed overview of the design tasks, covering key information such as the scope of the design, objectives, as well as the main challenges and difficulties, thereby enabling all parties to gain a comprehensive and in-depth understanding of the project design. Subsequently, representatives from all parties had lively discussions on various design principles and options, and after thorough exchange and communication, they reached a consensus, laying a solid foundation for the efficient progress of subsequent design work. Qian Yi, deputy general manager of Hengyi Energy Technology (Turpan) Co., Ltd., introduced the progress of the coal-based ethylene glycol project. At present, the project is progressing steadily as planned, with all preliminary tasks being carried out in an orderly manner. Li Lianqi, deputy head of the Gaochang District People’s Government, said at the meeting that the establishment of a chemical industry cluster is of great significance; it not only helps to optimize the industrial layout and promote high-quality development of the regional economy, but also enhances the competitiveness of the industries, attracts more high-quality enterprises to settle there, and creates a clustering effect within the industry. Huang Jiandao, director of the Turpan Economic Development Zone Management Committee, has high expectations for Saiding Company, hoping that it will complete the work on time to ensure the smooth progress of the project. The Saiding team solemnly promises to strictly adhere to relevant standards and specifications, and to complete the design work with both quality and quantity ensured. It was also emphasized that strong cooperation from the park is needed throughout the project’s implementation, with assistance provided in areas such as document supply and on-site coordination, to ensure the smooth progress of the project. The kick-off meeting marks the official commencement of the project design work. The company’s design team will adopt an efficient, professional, and responsible approach, working tirelessly to carry out the design tasks.
