On February 17, the Administrative Approval Bureau of Cangzhou Economic Development Zone approved the environmental impact assessment report for the construction project of Changfu New Materials (Hebei) Co., Ltd., which aims to produce 6,800 tons of polytetrafluoroethylene products per year, and made it public. It is understood that the total investment in this project is 120 million yuan. The construction site is located in the Economic Development Zone of Cangzhou City, Hebei Province, where Workshop 1, Workshop 2, and various auxiliary facilities will be built, along with the purchase of corresponding equipment. Once completed, the facility will be capable of producing 6,800 tons per year of polytetrafluoroethylene products, including polytetrafluoroethylene particles, polytetrafluoroethylene-based products, fluorinated pipe linings, semiconductor flow tubes, valves of clean-grade quality, and corrosion-resistant lined valves. Changfu New Materials (Hebei) Co., Ltd. was established on December 11, 2023, and its business scope includes general activities such as the manufacturing of plastic products. Polytetrafluoroethylene is a polymer compound formed by the polymerization of tetrafluoroethylene, and it possesses excellent chemical stability, corrosion resistance, sealing properties, high lubricity and non-stick characteristics, electrical insulation, as well as good resistance to aging. Polytetrafluoroethylene can be made into polytetrafluoroethylene pipes, rods, strips, sheets, films, etc., and it can also be used in corrosion-resistant pipes, containers, pumps, valves with high performance requirements, as well as in the manufacture of radar devices, high-frequency communication equipment, and wireless equipment. To meet market demands, Changfu New Materials (Hebei) Co., Ltd. has decided to invest 120 million yuan in building a production facility with an annual output of 6,800 tons of polytetrafluoroethylene products, located north of National Highway 307 in the Economic Development Zone of Cangzhou City, Hebei Province.
