Announcement on the Completion Inspection of Duofu Duoye’s Project to Produce 30,000 tons per year of ultra-pure lithium hexafluorophosphate crystals (Phase 3) 2025-07-04 15:25:48 On July 2, an announcement was made regarding the monitoring report on the environmental protection aspects related to the completion of Phase 3 of Duofu Duoye New Materials Co., Ltd.’s project aimed at producing 30,000 tons per year of ultra-pure lithium hexafluorophosphate crystals. The project of Duofuduo New Materials Co., Ltd. to produce 30,000 tons per year of ultra-pure lithium hexafluorophosphate crystals is located within the company’s existing factory complex. It will be constructed in three phases, with each phase involving the renovation and expansion of the existing hydrofluoric acid production facilities in order to increase the HF production capacity by 8,428 tons per year ; A new lithium hexafluorophosphate production facility with an annual capacity of 10,000 tons will be built. In phases one and two, calcium chloride will be produced using the by-product hydrochloric acid; in phase three, hydrochloric acid will be used directly as a by-product. Meanwhile, additional production equipment and environmental protection facilities will also be installed. During the construction of Phase 3, for market reasons, a production facility for lithium fluoride as a raw material was not built anymore, and lithium fluoride was purchased externally instead ; Second, the phosphorus pentachloride production facility is optimized, while the rest of the construction elements remain unchanged. The actual construction includes 1 set of lithium hexafluorophosphate production facilities with a production capacity of 10,000 t/year, comprising phosphorus pentafluoride production units, lithium hexafluorophosphate synthesis units, and other by-products. The scope of this inspection covers the Phase 3 project of Duofuduo New Materials Co., Ltd., which involves an annual production capacity of 30,000 tons of ultra-pure lithium hexafluorophosphate crystals. The inspection includes an assessment of the construction progress of Phase 3, as well as various environmental protection measures related to waste gas, wastewater, solid waste, and noise. The actual production capacity includes 10,000 tons per year of lithium hexafluorophosphate as the main product, along with other by-products.
