Entering the construction site of Inner Mongolia Ruida Juzhi New Materials Co., Ltd.’s project to produce 240,000 tons per year of methane chlorides and related products, one can see signs of intense activity everywhere. The construction workers each performed their duties diligently, working hard to advance various subsequent construction tasks, enabling the project to progress steadily and in an orderly manner. As a key project under Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region’s “1571” development plan, according to fluorine chemical industry sources, the project’s commencement ceremony was held on March 16 in Alxa High-Tech Zone. The project is planned to produce 240,000 tons per year of methane chlorides and related products. The total investment in the project is 1.525 billion yuan, to be implemented in two phases: Phase 1 will have an annual production capacity of 140,000 tons, of which 40,000 tons will be chloromethane, 65,000 tons dichloromethane, 35,000 tons trichloromethane, and 7,500 tons tetrachloroethylene ； Phase 2 expands production capacity on the basis of Phase 1, adding an annual output of 100,000 tons of methane chlorides, including 65,000 tons of dichloromethane, 35,000 tons of trichloromethane, and 0.75 tons of tetrachloroethylene. Once the project is completed and put into operation, it will fill the gap in the methane chloride industry in the region, marking the first time that such products are manufactured locally. Approximately 60% of the output will meet the demands of the local and surrounding markets, allowing for local consumption and reducing logistics costs; this will provide a stable supply of raw materials necessary for the sustainable development of the regional fluorine chemical industry chain. “The May Day holiday represented a golden period for project construction; all the construction workers stayed at their posts and worked hard on the front lines to accelerate the construction progress, and now the infrastructure work has been completed. ”Li Tan, the person in charge of the construction site at Inner Mongolia Ruida Juzhi New Materials Co., Ltd., said that the project team will focus on the goal of putting the first phase of the project into operation by November this year. They will work backwards from that date, establish a timeline for tasks, detail the construction milestones, and clarify the responsibilities associated with the construction, in order to ensure that the project is completed, put into use, and starts generating benefits as soon as possible, thereby accelerating the development of the industry. Inner Mongolia Ruida Juzhi New Materials Co., Ltd. is a new entity established by the Ruida Group to further extend the industrial chains of its subsidiaries and strengthen the physical manufacturing sector. The company was established on October 21, 2025, with Inner Mongolia Ruitai Taifeng Chemical Co., Ltd., a subsidiary of the group, serving as the main sponsor. It was formed in partnership with Alxa High-Tech Industrial Development Zone Financial Investment Co., Ltd., and was officially registered in the Alxa High-Tech Industrial Development Zone. The company’s registered capital is 200 million yuan, which is earmarked for the development and construction of Phase I of the project. As an important vehicle for the group to deepen its development in the chlorine-based industry chain, the establishment of Ruida Juzhi will effectively drive the transformation and upgrading of Ruida Taifeng Company’s product portfolio toward greater diversity and higher quality.
