Enhance quality awareness and promote high-quality development. ----------------------------------------- On October 7, 2023, the evaluation results for the scientific and technological achievements related to the comprehensive utilization of tetramethylsilane mixtures were made public as required, and the project received a “Scientific and Technological Achievement Certificate” issued by the China Fluorosilicon Organic Materials Industry Association. It is reported that on the eve of National Day, at the request of Jiangxi Lanxing Silicones Co., Ltd., the China Fluorosilicon Organic Materials Industry Association organized an evaluation team to assess the scientific and technological achievements related to the comprehensive utilization of tetramethylsilane mixtures. The evaluation expert group, led by Zhang Liqun, an academician of the Chinese Academy of Engineering and president of South China University of Technology, unanimously agreed that the overall technology of this project reaches the international advanced level, with some technologies being at the international leading level. The evaluation conclusion states that the project successfully developed a new process for the comprehensive utilization of a tetramethylsilane mixture (silicone low-boiling compounds). Key innovations: First, a catalytic technique was developed to enable the disproportionation reaction of tetramethylsilane, distilled from low-boiling organic silicon monomers, and methyltrichlorosilane in a fixed-bed reactor to produce dimethyldichlorosilane. The content of dimethyldichlorosilane in the reaction products exceeds 70%, achieving efficient conversion of tetramethylsilane and methyltrichlorosilane. A production line with an annual capacity of 20,000 tons has been established using this technology. Secondly, in response to the low production efficiency, large amount of acid-containing wastewater, complex post-treatment processes, and high process safety risks associated with traditional batch methods, a continuous process for producing hydrogen-containing double-ended products using dimethylchlorosilane has been developed, featuring independent intellectual property rights. This process offers high conversion rates, less acid-containing wastewater, and stable product quality. Using this technology, a hydrogen-containing double-headed production facility with an annual capacity of 1,000 tons has been built. It is understood that this project has applied for 11 patents, of which 9 have been approved, while the other 2 are still under evaluation ; Participated in formulating the group standard for 1,1,3,3-tetramethyldisiloxane products. Since the industrialization of this technology at Jiangxi Lanxing Spark Silicone Co., Ltd. three years ago, it has generated over 190 million yuan in additional profits and more than 30 million yuan in additional tax revenues ; Tests conducted by users on the products manufactured show that they possess excellent overall performance, stable quality, and broad market prospects, offering significant environmental, social, and economic benefits.
