Construction begins on Fujian Sanming Mingxi Haisfu’s project to produce 30,000 tons of high-end fluorine-based fine chemicals annually

On the morning of July 14, the groundbreaking ceremony for Haishuo’s annual production capacity of 30,000 tons of high-end fluorine-based fine chemicals was held in Zone D of the Mingxi County Economic Development Zone, marking the start of the comprehensive construction phase. It is understood that the Haishufo project, which aims to produce 30,000 tons of high-end fluorine-based fine chemicals per year, requires an overall investment of around 1.2 billion yuan. The construction will involve setting up new production lines for 1,000 tons per year of environmentally friendly electrical insulation gases and related products, 9,100 tons of environmentally friendly fluorine-based cleaning agents, 600 tons of perfluoroalkyl ether derivatives, 370 tons of fluorine-based surfactants, 200 tons of lithium battery additives, and 10,000 tons of other fluorine-containing chemicals. In addition, facilities for producing 500 tons of fluorine nitride and 80 tons of hydrogen will be built for internal use. The main construction is expected to be completed by 2026, with trial production starting in December 2027.
