On July 28, the environmental impact assessment for the technical upgrade project of Dongying Chemical Co., Ltd. in Qingliu County, Fujian Province, which aims to increase the annual production capacity of electronic-grade hydrogen fluoride to 60,000 tons, was made public. Project Name: Dongying Chemical’s Technical Upgrade Project to Increase Annual Production of 60,000 tons of electronic-grade hydrogen fluoride ； Construction unit: Dongying Chemical Co., Ltd., Qingliu County, Fujian Province ； Construction location: Daliukou area, Qingliu County Fluorine New Materials Industrial Park ； Project investment: 20 million yuan ； Construction nature: Renovation ； Construction details: It is planned to add oxidation pretreatment and distillation purification units after the degassing towers of two out of the three existing hydrogen fluoride production lines (30,000 tons per line) in the new plant facility, thereby raising the quality of the hydrogen fluoride produced by these two lines from industrial anhydrous hydrogen fluoride to electronic-grade hydrogen fluoride (approximately 30,000 tons per line). Construction schedule: The project is expected to start in December 2025 and be completed and put into operation in September 2027, with a construction period of 22 months.
