On March 20, an information notice was released prior to the submission for approval of the environmental impact report for the Fluorine New Materials Project (Phase I) of Zibo Feiyuan Chemical Co., Ltd. Project investment: 90 million yuan ; Construction content and scale: A plant with an annual production capacity of 14,000 tons for 1,1,1-trichlorotrifluoroethane (R113a). In this project, the 14,000 tons/year plant and the existing 7,000 tons/year plant operate as backups to each other, with production not taking place simultaneously; additional facilities such as tank areas, workshops, and recirculation ponds will also be constructed. The 1,1,1-trichlorotrifluoroethane (R113a) product is intended for the company’s own use ; As by-products, approximately 26,500 tons per year of 31% hydrochloric acid, about 300 tons per year of 40% hydrofluoric acid, and around 4,400 tons per year of 5% sodium hypochlorite are produced, all of which are sold externally.
