On February 6, the Gaoqing Branch of the Zibo Ecology and Environment Bureau approved the environmental impact assessment documents for Zibo Feiyuan Chemical Co., Ltd.’s project to upgrade its capacity for producing mixed refrigerants at a rate of 25,000 tons per year, and these documents were made public. The relevant details are as follows: The developer of Zibo Feiyuan Chemical Co., Ltd.’s project to increase production of mixed refrigerants by 25,000 tons per year is Zibo Feiyuan Chemical Co., Ltd. itself； Project investment: 1.9 million yuan. Location of construction: Gaoqing Chemical Industry Park ； Project nature: Technical renovation ； Construction details: Utilize the existing 1 x 200m³ R410A storage tank and 4 x 33m³ metering tanks, and add 4 new 49m³ storage tanks along with related transfer pumps and other equipment. Building on the existing production capacity of 12,000 tons per year for mixed refrigerants, an additional 25,000 tons per year of such refrigerants will be produced, of which 13,000 tons per year will be R410A, 0.3 million tons per year R407C, 0.3 million tons per year R404A, and 0.6 million tons per year R507A. In total, this will result in a production capacity of 37,000 tons per year for mixed refrigerant products. Other notes: Zibo Feiyuan Chemical’s existing 12,000 t/a mixed refrigerant production facility is mainly equipped with refrigerant mixing equipment and a filling workshop. Using materials such as R32, R125, R134a, and R143a, it produces 7,000 t/a of R410A, 3,000 t/a of R407C, and 2,000 t/a of R404A.
