On December 24, the Binzhou Ecology and Environment Bureau accepted the environmental impact assessment documents for the technical upgrade project of electronic-grade hydrofluoric acid carried out by Dasheng Xin Material Technology (Shandong) Co., Ltd., and made them public. The details of the project are as follows: Project name: Technical upgrade project for electronic-grade hydrofluoric acid; Construction unit: Dasheng Xin Material Technology (Shandong) Co., Ltd ; Construction location: Bincheng Chemical Industry Park (expanded area) ; Project investment: 25 million yuan ; Project nature: Technical renovation ; Construction contents: This project aims to carry out technical upgrades to the existing \"6,000 tons/year electronic-grade hydrofluoric acid production facility.\" Pre-treatment steps will be added at the beginning of the production process to improve the quality of the raw materials, while additional purification steps will be installed after the current purification processes to further enhance the quality of the final product. Additionally, a filling line for high-purity anhydrous hydrogen fluoride (electronic-grade) will be constructed, thereby boosting the project’s competitiveness in the market. Upon completion of the technical upgrades, the project will produce 6,000 tons per year of electronic-grade hydrofluoric acid, 1,000 tons per year of high-purity anhydrous hydrogen fluoride (electronic grade), and 1,901 tons per year of industrial-grade hydrofluoric acid. The total production capacity will remain unchanged, with no increase in capacity. Regarding Dasheng Xin Material Technology (Shandong) Co., Ltd.: Established on December 26, 2022, Dasheng Xin Material Technology (Shandong) Co., Ltd. is located at No. 888 Huanghe 5th Road, Bincheng District, Binzhou City, Shandong Province. It is a wholly-owned subsidiary of Binhua Group Co., Ltd., and is primarily engaged in the research and development of new material technologies as well as the development and production of materials specific for electronic use.
