Foaming categories and storage of foaming liquids

Previously, in our piping engineering field, we placed one tank for boiling liquids and another tank for similar types of liquids in the same tank area – just two tanks in total. During the inspection, the supervisor told us that they couldn’t be placed together. He asked me what to do, and I suggested building a dike with the same height as a fire dike, thereby creating two separate tank areas; it’s just that these two areas are located next to each other. I’m not sure what the basis for this is. According to the general layout principles, if there are two tank areas, there should be fire access routes between them. What do you all think?
For oil-related projects, there’s another overflow tank and a non-overflow tank, right?
I often do this as well, but the distance requirement between the storage tank and the cofferdam must be met.
The original poster had better take a closer look at the petrochemical regulations. Standards are there to protect design work.
