The operating pressure of the process pipeline is 10.2 MPa, with a diameter of DN200; the pressure difference before and after the valve is 0.2 MPa. To prevent the valve from not closing properly, a blind flange is installed behind the valve. How should this blind flange be selected?
Select an 8-character blind flange with the same pressure rating as the valve.
It is still necessary to choose based on the maximum closing pressure difference.
For safety reasons, select the blind flange according to the operating pressure, referring to standard ASME B16.48
Are there any special sealing requirements for the valve?
Since a blind plate is being used, it should be selected based on the operating pressure.
Of course, it is chosen based on the pressure of the pipeline.
