I have been working on NMP distillation and purification recently – specifically, the purification of NMP waste liquid obtained from battery coating workshops using distillation towers. From the information I’ve found, three to four towers are generally used for this process: the first tower is used for dehydration, the second tower removes any remaining trace amounts of water, the third tower produces high-purity NMP, and the residue from the bottom of the fourth tower constitutes the waste liquid. I’m quite curious about the composition of the wastewater from the first tower; aside from the NMP content, what are the components of the residue from the fourth tower? If anyone knows, please come and share your thoughts:lol:lol:lol
The first is water, which contains basically no other substances; at the bottom of the fourth tower are coking substances.
The first column is mainly for water and water-soluble, low-boiling-point impurities, while the bottom product of the fourth column contains high-boiling-point impurities
Friend, for the four columns, what’s the approximate number of theoretical plates for each column?:)
It can only be determined based on the component concentrations; you can use simulation software to conduct a simulation. Otherwise, the difference will be quite large
The simulation conditions are insufficient; ask about the approximate parameters to get an idea
