What do the two small holes at the bottom of the oil collection tank in the desorption tower mean? ? ?
It’s the weep hole; during shutdown, the material on the tray flows through this hole to the lower tray
The weep hole allows the liquid to flow from the lower tray during normal operation, and it also prevents the liquid stored in the liquid collection tray from affecting operations when the system is shut down.
