The standard GB50187 specifies that there are no restrictions on the distance between fiberglass cooling towers； However, the general transportation plan 50489-2009 does not specify this; it only states that the distance between small cooling towers can be appropriately reduced.
Generally, the general layout is still designed in accordance with the \"Code for General Layout Design of Industrial Enterprises\" (GB50187-2012); as long as the diameter of the fiberglass-reinforced plastic cooling tower is less than 4.7 meters, there is no need to consider the spacing between adjacent towers
Hey, I just checked – according to standard 50187-93, fiberglass cooling towers are not subject to any restrictions. In fact, this requirement was removed after the 2012 revision; under the new standards, the minimum distance required is 12.75 meters. It seems that some of our cooling towers no longer meet these requirements. . . .
