Frequent clogging of the reflux pump in the crude benzene production process

Our factory uses a benzene distillation process for the production of crude benzene, but recently we have noticed that the reflux pumps for crude benzene get clogged frequently, with the blockages consisting of carbonaceous sludge-like substances. Due to efficiency issues with the crude benzene condensation cooler, the temperature of the crude benzene is relatively high, resulting in a large amount of reflux; the reflux ratio is 4–5. I would appreciate advice from those with more experience
In your company, when performing the reflow extraction of crude benzene, is it the benzene that is fed back into the process or the benzene from the intermediate tank?
It’s possible that your condensing cooler needs to be cleaned. With prolonged use, polymers accumulate inside the equipment, which also affects heat transfer efficiency.
What form is this condenser usually in? Tube type or spiral plate type?
