On Ingersoll Rand diaphragm pumps, the old diaphragms and new ones appear to have a greater degree of wear – is that due to deformation? Is it still new and not complete?
It’s different from the diaphragm of MDL. The new diaphragm of MDL is flat and circular, with no bolts for fixation at the edges; it is installed by clamping. After use, bulging deformation may occur in the middle, which is a normal phenomenon.
