It’s the type with one motor driving two pumps. The problem is that the motor current is too high, the pump shaft is very difficult to rotate, it can still deliver flow, and after it stops, the shaft becomes difficult to rotate again. Please analyze the reasons
The current is high; the turntable is sinking~~~ Are there any other symptoms? Just in terms of this performance, more than 10 possibilities can be listed~~~~~~~~~~~~
Did the current suddenly increase? Are there any abnormal noises? What medium is being used? Does low temperature increase viscosity, which in turn increases resistance? Everyone was trying to guess based on this picture, and you didn’t provide anything at all
This post was last edited by COMPUMP_BZXS on 2018-1-25 at 12:57. How is this pump turned? In the diagram, the motor is connected directly to the worm gear set. Also, the motor fan cover is missing, and the manual stroke adjustment seems to be at the 0 flow rate point.
The medium is liquid ammonia. To turn the shaft, one needs to remove the motor cover and use pipe wrenches to turn the motor shaft; it won’t turn
There’s no need to think about it – just take it apart. If the pipe wrench can’t even turn it, there’s definitely some problem. It’s hard to say exactly where the issue lies; it could be the Z-axis, the bearings, or even the plunger rod. The image is not clear; could we separate the two pumps first to determine which one has the problem? I don’t think there’s much of an issue with the medium itself

This was resolved by reducing the stroke of the metering pump; once that was done, turning the shaft became much easier. What is the reason for this?
