Under normal circumstances, the storage period is relatively long, ranging from 3 to 5 years. Otherwise, it will become ineffective after just a few days of storage, and in that case spare parts lose their usefulness. The normal conditions mentioned here refer to those factors that can affect the quality of the items, such as exposure to light, temperature, and humidity; some items need to be wrapped in tarps – these are all common storage conditions. In some cases, due to the requirements of their usage environment, items must be stored in sealed conditions to prevent contamination. :)
It is mainly influenced by two factors: the storage environment and the material selection as well as the manufacturing quality of the spare parts themselves. Generally, our O-rings last no more than 3 years, and purchases are usually updated dynamically based on consumption levels.
