Deaeration water pump – is there anyone who can help me take a look at the picture? My QQ number is 1666844312
It is a boiler feed pump, a multi-stage pump – possibly 5 stages – with a vertical layout; the bearing housing jackets are equipped with cooling water, and the seal circulation flushing pump has a cooler
For multi-stage pumps, the sealing is implemented using a Plan23 flushing scheme, which involves a small circulation within the sealing chamber; those connections are used to provide cooling for the pump.
Grade 5 centrifugal pump, sealing scheme 23.
Deoxygenated water – the temperature is not low; it’s at least 80 or 90 degrees, I think. Is it a horizontal multi-stage pump, intended for handling large flow rates?
Are the flushing procedures for API610 and API682 the same?
Generally 104°C. Requirement for head pressure
Standard ISO 21049 (API682) referenced in API610 – Shaft seal systems for centrifugal pumps and rotor pumps. API610 was released in the 8th edition (in 1996); API682 came later. Version 1 of API682 was not established until 1994. When talking about sealing systems these days, it refers to API 682.
