A magnetically driven pump (abbreviated as magnetic pump) is a new type of product that applies the working principle of permanent magnet couplings to centrifugal pumps. It features rational design and advanced manufacturing techniques, as well as full sealing, no leakage, and corrosion resistance. Thanks to its fully sealed design, leak-free operation, and corrosion resistance, magnetic pump is widely used in industries such as petroleum, chemicals, pharmaceuticals, electroplating, environmental protection, water treatment, film and photography processing, and defense to pump flammable, explosive, toxic, and valuable liquids. It is an ideal pump for creating leak-free and pollution-free industrial facilities. The following points should be taken into consideration during the installation of magnetic pump: Note 1. Place the unit on its foundation, and insert wedge shims between the base plate and the foundation; by adjusting these wedge shims, align the pump horizontally. After adjusting, tighten the anchor bolts. 2. Before installation, the pump and motor should be inspected to ensure that all parts are in good condition, and there should be no debris inside the magnetic pump. 3. Construct the concrete foundation according to the basic dimensions, and embed the anchor bolts at the same time. 4. The suction and discharge pipelines of the magnetic pump should be supported; the magnetic pump itself cannot be used as a support. The diameter of the inlet and outlet pipes should be consistent with that of the pump’s inlet and outlet. 5. Once installation is complete, manually rotate the magnetic pump coupling to check for any signs of rubbing; if it rotates smoothly and evenly, the installation is finished. 6. Magnetic pumps must not be used to pump media containing particles or substances that tend to crystallize. They must not operate continuously with the discharge outlet closed; a minimum flow rate must be maintained. 7. To prevent debris from entering the magnetic pump, a filter should be installed at the inlet, with a filtering area that is 3 to 4 times larger than the cross-sectional area of the pipeline. 8. When the viscosity of the medium is too high, both the performance and power of the magnetic pump will be affected; please follow the instructions in the manual for details. 9. It is necessary to ensure that the installation height of the magnetic pump meets the pump’s net positive suction head, taking into account pipeline losses and the temperature of the medium.
