The oil mist lubrication system uses compressed air as power to atomize the oil, thereby generating a dry oil mist similar to smoke with particle sizes of less than 2μm, which is then delivered to the lubrication points through pipes. Before the oil mist reaches the lubrication points, it must pass through a component known as a \"condensation nozzle,\" which transforms the oil mist into oil droplets that cover the bearings in need of lubrication, thereby forming an oil film. Oil mist lubrication is suitable for lubricating enclosed gears, turbines, chains, slides, guide rails, and various bearings. Currently, in petrochemical and metallurgical enterprises, oil mist lubrication systems are widely used for large, high-speed, and heavy-duty rolling bearings. Compared to other lubrication methods, oil mist lubrication has many unique advantages: 1. Oil mist can be dispersed along with compressed air to all friction areas that require lubrication. A good and even lubrication effect can be achieved ; 2. Compressed air has a low specific heat and high flow velocity, making it easy to carry away the heat generated by friction. 3. Significantly reduced the consumption of lubricating oil. 4. The relatively thin oil circulation lubrication system has a simple and lightweight structure, occupies less space, has low power consumption, is easy to maintain and manage, allows for easy automatic control, and has low costs ; 5. Due to the pressure exerted by the oil mist, it can provide an effective seal, preventing external impurities and moisture from entering the friction pair.
