Gentlemen, for the Sulzer single-stage bedroom centrifugal pump, the oil level usually appears at the full mark in the viewing window; however, oil leakage occurred suddenly. After adding more oil, the leakage stopped after some time. The oil seal is a domestically produced bearing isolator, with the rotating ring located inside it. The breather was also checked and showed no signs of blockage. The cause of the oil leak is currently unknown; please share your suggestions. Thank you
Is the oil level in the oil window full? Are there any clear leakage points in your bearings?
Where did the oil leak to? Can the leak be found?
Do not fill the oil window to the top; it is generally recommended to keep it at 1/2 to 2/3 level. Check the interference fit of the bearing cover, the shaft, and the bearing isolator seal. Or switch to another isolator manufacturer. Those with influence in domestic imitation are really not that good.
