When going for home interior design, we actually place great importance on the choice of decoration methods. People these days are so discerning, which means it’s up to us to make the right choices. In terms of types, the popular renovation methods nowadays include full-package renovation, semi-package renovation, bare-package renovation, and package-based renovation. Let’s talk first about full-service and bare-bones renovation. Full-service renovation means that the customer only needs to cover the costs, as everything is included in that package. This is the so-called full renovation – all you need to do is spend money. Working without any support is quite tough; they hired me just to do the work. I’m not in charge of any materials, and if the materials don’t arrive on time, it’s your responsibility – I won’t take any blame for that. Next, let’s take a look at the semi-package renovation and package renovation options. Semi-package renovation is a type that falls between full-package renovation and bare-package renovation; it is not like bare-package renovation where the homeowner is responsible for all the materials, nor is it like full-package renovation where the renovation company handles all the materials. Semi-packaged renovation involves a partnership where the home improvement company handles the main materials, while the homeowner is responsible for the supplementary materials. What are the main materials? We can roughly understand them as those items that cannot be moved; for example, floors, ceilings, tiles, paints and coatings, and so on. As for auxiliary materials, furniture, accessories, decorations – all these fall under the category of auxiliary materials. The package renovation option is even more comprehensive; compared to the full-package renovation, it covers all the remaining aspects of home decoration for daily use. With the full-package renovation, one has to buy furniture on their own before moving in, while with the package renovation, you can move in right away with everything ready. So, how exactly should one choose among so many decoration methods? Of course, it depends on one’s own actual situation – isn’t that obvious? But it is such nonsense that proves useful. In short, those who have time but no money should figure out a package plan; those who have both time and money can just go ahead as they please. As for those who have no time but have money, they must definitely choose a package plan. What if you say you have neither time nor money? Go back and live in a bare-shell house. (Jokingly, we can only figure out the packaging; if there’s no time, just find some time for it.) There’s not that much to consider when it comes to interior design – it’s sufficient to tailor everything to one’s own actual situation.
