Excessive nitrogen stripping can lead to an increase in the H2S content in the exhaust gases, and how to quantitatively control this level is also a matter of great concern for us. Theoretically, the CO2 content of the material flowing from the bottom of the reabsorption tower to the heat regeneration tower is around 1%, but it’s not clear how this should be achieved in practice. We generally control the amount of nitrogen stripped during production through online H2S analysis of exhaust gases. By collecting data under different load steady states to establish a correlation curve between the load and the nitrogen removed through stripping, it is generally possible to approximate the increase in nitrogen removed per unit of load by taking the difference in nitrogen removal values at the minimum and maximum loads and dividing it by the difference between those loads.
